It's the 15th! That means we all survived Friday the 13th! It also means it's the middle of the month; does that make it hump month? IDK.
But more exciting than any of those things, it means it's time for a duel - Dueling Darling style.
The hostess of this friendly duel this month are Judy for the Divas and Donna for the Dazzlers. I'm a Dazzler so I received a kit from Donna.
This is what she had to say...
Judy and I have chosen to celebrate Baby Safety Month; so this month's kit is all about babies. (She sent stuff for boys, girls, or unisex. I chose to make my card non-gender specific.)
This is what was in Donna's kit...
Image is from Gina K Designs. It's from a retired stamp set called Wee Tees. All stamping is on Neenah Solar White with Gina K Designs Amalgam Ink.
Sentiments are from several different companies: "For a Little Cutie" is from Paper Makeup Stamps (no longer in business). "Congratulations" is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings stamp set.
Designer Paper: all from the Paper Studio: Blue Tiny Toes Baby Feet, Pink Tiny Toes Baby Feet, Bright Watercolor Plaid, and Balloon Animals.
Embellishments: the Paper Studio la petites Baby Girl Glitter Foam and Baby Boy Glitter Foam (bottles and pacifiers), Doodle Twine pink and white, Recollections Multicolored dhesive rhinestones, and these items from her stash - 2 blue and 2 yellow brads, yellow and blue ribbons, and wooden clothes pin.
Thanks Donna!
Here's the inside of my card:
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Be sure to check out the blogs of the other Dueling Darlings (links can be found in my left side bar).
The only thing of my own that I used to make this card was some cardstock - Recollections Black for layering, Recollections White for the inside, and Stampin' UP! So Saffron for the card base.
