I'm a member of a Bible Journaling group on SCS. Each month the group leader (Julie) shares a theme with us, including a Scripture reference, and we are to journal that theme at some point during the month. We are free to use the verse she shares or we can use any theme-appropriate verse in the Bible.
This month's theme is Help, Helper, Helpful.
Julie says: There are many verses (especially in Psalms) using "help". One of my favorites is: Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 124:8 (ESV)
I love the verse Julie shared but I decided to journal Psalm 54:4 instead.
But God is my helper.
The Lord keeps me alive.
Psalm 54:4 (NLT)
I used some dirt/soil designer paper as a reminder that God is there to help me when life gets dirty. Of course He's always there to help me, not just in the rough times.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
