Once a month, the Challenge Your Stash group has a challenge (chosen by one of the members of the group) - and we can only use what we have in our stash. No shopping allowed.
Kelly had a great theme for us this month.
Let me "stencil you in!" Use a stencil somewhere/somehow on your card.
Now some of the gals had to get creative since they didn't own any actual stencils... but I had no problem, since I have quite a few stencils.
I knew one that I wanted to use for sure... the Stamp Anniething Wave Edge stencil. You might wonder why. Simple really. I was in a swap with Stamp Anniething on Facebook. They give you the name/address of someone to send a card to. And guess who got my name? Yep, Kelly! What are the chances of that, right? Well, not only did she send me an absolutely adorable card, she also sent me the Stamp Anniething Wave Edge stencil. So I knew I had to use it on my card for her "Stencil you in!" Challenge.
I do think I maybe should have done some research - looked for a Youtube tutorial - because I'm pretty sure I didn't use the stencil right. But it is what it is.
I used another stencil on the inside of my card -
My Favorite Things Sun Ray
