Thank You!

Sundays are Victorine Originals days on my blog which means each Sunday I showcase a card I've made with one of their stamp sets (Victorine Originals, Raisin Boat, SumMore Fun). Today's card features a stamp from the Raisin Boat Talking in Circles stamp set. This is a fabulous stamp set with circles of sentiments... and it's on clearance at a ridiculously low price right now so go check it out - HERE.

Today's card is also one I've made for the Crafters of Faith July challenge so it's a two-fer card.

Sue is the hostess of the Crafters of Faith this month. This is the Scripture/Theme she gave us...

Scripture: Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Challenge: Make a card that uses something you’ve saved.

Can you tell what item I save was used on this card? I'll give you a hint, it comes from one of my FAVORITE places to eat.

The "flower" is made by cutting pieces from a Chipotle paper (they come in the basket with the food, but I often times remove it and save it before it has a chance to get soiled). I cut four pieces from it using a scalloped circle punch and adhered them to the card with a brad for the center. Then I crunched them to give them depth.

A simple card, for sure, but sometimes I just need a fast/easy thank you card and this one definitely fits that description.

I hope Sue and the other Crafters of Faith like my card.
