I had the honor of hosting one of the VSN (Virtual Stamp Night) challenges on Splitcoast Stampers this weekend. It is always fun to be part of this creative two days. If you're not familiar with it, there is a new challenge presented each hour and participants have a one-hour time limit for making a card based on that theme. Of course the organizers know everyone cannot participate at the time so they give a few days afterwards to complete the challenges, but the guideline of making your card in an hour time limit still applies.
Here's the challenge I presented...
I am unashamedly a long-time Elvis fan. The King of Rock and Roll often told his audiences, Thank you, thank you very much. Therefore, my challenge is simply to create a thank you card - ANY kind of thank you card.
Of course, your thank you card can be one that depicts Elvis Presley if you’d like, but that’s optional. Clueless how to do that? (I know; it's hard to believe, but some of you aren't Elvis fans so I'll give you one idea.) Pink and Black were Elvis' favorite colors so you could use that color scheme on your card.
I had to use some of my Elvis stamps for a card:
Thank You, Thank You Very Much for stopping by my blog today!
Stamps: Cornish Heritage Farms "Elvis" Collection stamped with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink
Papers: Fun Stampers Journey Watermelon Fusion and Recollections Black and 110# White CS and DP from my scrap file
Embellishments: Cloud 9 Rain Drops

I must add an Elvis or two to my collection!! I would use him all the time for thank you cards. I certainly love this one! I finished my card for your challenge and got it posted this morning!
Stunning card Jeanette, and I love that the silhouette stamp is so obviously Elvis ( to those who 'knew' him!)
Blessings
