Faux Pressed Flowers for a Friend
The Crafters of Faith group was hosted by Liz this month, which meant she was the one who chose the theme for our challenge. I will admit, when I first ready her instructions, I was a bit nervous. I'd never heard of the Faux Pressed Flower technique before - but it sound difficult.
Not so!
It's actually quite easy - and FUN!
Thanks for a great challenge, Liz. I love how it caused me to try something new and not too challenging. My card is not the greatest, but now that I know how easy this technique is, I'm sure I'll try it again sometime.
Here's Liz's theme:
Scripture: 2Corinthians 4:8-9 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned, struck down, but not destroyed.
Challenge: My challenge to the COF team this month is to try the Faux Pressed Flowers.
If you'd like to check out the tutorial for Faux Pressed Flowers, you can find it HERE.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Thanks for giving it a try. I love this passage and your card is lovely. I seem to have misplaced some of my large prima flowers I know I have somewhere, so I ended up using small ones on my card, but I love these large ones on yours. You are one of the busiest women of God I know. You amaze me with all that you accomplish.
Oh how I love this technique - I taught it again this week with my class. Your card is gorgeous Jeanette!
Blessings
Maxine
