My Refuge and Strength

The Bible Art Journaling group on SCS, led by Julie, has a monthly theme to guide a Bible Journaling entry. This month's theme is Refuge. I had already journaled several of the Refuge-themed verses in my journaling Bible and I'm not quite ready to move on to a new Bible, so I had to dig a bit before deciding what verse/passage to journal. 

But as for me, I will sing about your power.

Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love.

For you have been my refuge,

a place of safety when I am in distress.

O my Strength, to you I sing praises,

for you, O God, are my refuge,

the God who shows me unfailing love.

Psalm 59:16-17
