I don't like to get in a rut. Instead, I am a person who likes change (did I hear a collective gasp?). To help with that, I decided to do Quarterly Series (I often refer to these as "Personal Challenges") in 2019. The first three months I used the same stamp set in 7 different ways on 7 different cards, which actually ended up being 8 cards.
What will I do this quarter?
My Bi-Weekly
Flea Market Flip
If you were around my blog a number of years ago, I used to do what I called "Treasure Hunt" posts. I'd find something that wasn't intended for card-making at yard sales, thrift stores, and such - and I'd use that item on a card. This Flea Market Flip is basically the same idea, just a new name.
Here's what I found:
Cost: $1
Found at a local thrift store
I thought the crosses would make perfect charm embellishments for cards.
Here's a closeup:
Here's a wee peek at the inside:
And for my dollar investment, I have three more cross charms to use at some point in the future.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Stamp: PrintWorks John 3:16 stamped with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink
Die: Sizzix Mini Globe
Paper: Recollections Black and SU Emerald Envy CS and Paper Pizazz Green Salt DP
Embellishments: Offray and Oriental Trading Ribbons and Brads from unknown vendors

Stunning find Jeanette, and a wonderful way to use the crosses - your card is fabulous. I remember your treasure hunt cards :-)
