This past Friday there was a VSN (Virtual Stamping Night) Mini session. There were three challenges. Participants had one hour to complete each card. No more! I loved the VSN theme - From Here to There. The hostesses did an outstanding job. THANK YOU Kim, Misti, and Lee!
Traveling Ink
hosted by Kim
Kim challenged us to use the Rolling Marble Technique to make part of our card. It involves putting drops of ink in a clam shell, adding marbles, and rolling them around to take on the ink. Then add a piece of paper and roll some more. Such fun!
BUT - who would have thought that the biggest challenge would be finding marbles. I never did find any, so I used small bouncy balls instead.

Travel Snacks
hosted by Misti
Misti says, I don't know about you, but anytime my family goes on a road trip, snacks are a requirement. Each family member has their own preferences on snacks.
We don't eat in my car, but I do have memories of travel snacks as a child. My mom often had popcorn for road trips... and when my dad's driving was scaring her or we got into an area where she didn't feel comfortable, she'd eat the popcorn much more aggressively.

Follow Your Arrow
hosted by Lee
Lee's challenge is simple....use an arrow(s) in your creation! Arrows can give us directions in our travels, inspire us to take new routes in any aspect of our life, symbolize so many things from love to culture! Have fun with it!!

Super fun cards! When I last did the marble technique, the only ones i had were in the hungry hungry hippos game. And those are plastic! Now that I have some glass ones I wonder if it would turn out different. I think the bouncy balls gave a great extra splatter!
Great Cards Jeanette. I love the "marbled" one the best--great colors!
I think, I too, have lost all my marbles, Jeanette!! What great cards for the VSN mini!! My favorite card here is the third one with that sensational sentiment and your wonderful arrows!!
