Have you noticed the changes on my blog? I'm loving my new look! There are still a few glitches to work out and also a thing or two I want to tweak as far as my posts go, but so far I'm smiling from ear to ear, as the saying goes.
I also love my new URL (cre8tiveplay.com) - now I want to figure out how to make a new watermark for my photos that includes that.
You might notice I've also gained a couple of new followers this week. THANK YOU... and WELCOME!!! The Project Bin DT is having a contest to see who can get the most new followers this week. I'm losing miserably... but I'm a very good cheerleader! I'm embracing that roll! YAY Kelly (I think she has a commanding lead right now) and Good Luck to all the other DT members!
Now... to today's card. It's a Creative Card Chicks card. What does that mean? I'm part of the Creative Card Chicks group on SCS. Each month one of us hosts by sending a set of goodies to all the team members and we make/share our creations. This month it was Barb's turn. Her kit included this fun image/sentiment (Unity Snowman to Go), some awesome designer paper from Echo Park (A Perfect Winter - Welcome Winter/Snowy Stripes)and some SU Baker's Twine and grosgrain ribbon. THANK YOU, Barb!
I never seem to know what to do with Baker's Twine - is it just me? So... I just made a bow and attached it to my card.
It is a double bow,
as you can see in this close up:
I hope Barb and the other Chickies like my card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
The only thing I used in addition to Barb's kit is some CS for layering and the card base - Recollections Black and and SU Bermuda Bay.
