Disclaimer: I do not like either one of these cards
BUT - a challenge is a challenge. LOL! I challenged myself to make 7 cards using different techniques and such but using the same stamp set - Unity's A Good Life. So I am doing that, like them or not.
Check out Card #1 - Nope, I didn't like it either
Check out Card #2 and #3 - I actually liked both of them
Card #4
Card #5
For this card I took a piece of White Shiplap DP and placed a stencil on top. I then sponged on Antique Linen ink, filling in all those spots. I thought that was kind of fun! Once I was satisfied with that I stamped the image on top of it.
I trimmed it to a 4 1/4" square and then sponged Frayed Burlap Ink around the edges. After that it was just a matter of assembling the card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

OK, Jeanette. I don't see anything wrong with these cards. I am stumped, wrong direction? I have put together so many things upside down and then realized that if I didn't say anything, most crafters don't notice or are too polite to say anything. I think both of these beauties are lovely. The soft subtle tones are soothing and Life's an Adventure is so true! TFS!
ReplyDeleteI love the drama created by this awesome image each and every time you use it!! Beautiful work, Jeanette!!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I do like card #5 - that is great but subtle use of the stencil in the background
