A Good Life - Cards 4 & 5 of 7

Disclaimer: I do not like either one of these cards

BUT - a challenge is a challenge. LOL! I challenged myself to make 7 cards using different techniques and such but using the same stamp set - Unity's A Good Life. So I am doing that, like them or not.

Card #4

I first took a piece of watercolor paper and played around with the Master's Touch Pearl Watercolors. Once I'd achieved a look that I was okay with (okay being the operative word), I let it thoroughly dry and then stamped the image onto it. I trimmed it to a square and put the card together. BUT - I hate this part - I attached it to the DP in the wrong direction. LOL! I meant for the left ide to be the top. But it was stuck - TIGHT - as I'd used that sticky tear tape. So... I had to adapt. I added Washi Tape and Ribbon on top hoping it would satisfy me. It didn't. Oh well.

Card #5

For this card I took a piece of White Shiplap DP and placed a stencil on top. I then sponged on Antique Linen ink, filling in all those spots. I thought that was kind of fun! Once I was satisfied with that I stamped the image on top of it.

I trimmed it to a 4 1/4" square and then sponged Frayed Burlap Ink around the edges. After that it was just a matter of assembling the card.
