I was tagged! Yep, it happens. Amanda Pollock (Stampin' Wombat) tagged me in the JessicaLynn Original 3-color challenge. So, being one who likes a challenge, I accepted the challenge and created today's card.
You can see Jessica's YouTube video introducing the challenge HERE. You can also see the card Amanda made for the 3-color challenge HERE.
Here's how the challenge works:
1. Choose an image you want to work with. (any company images/ digital or stamp)
2. Choose 3 Markers (any kind) I used topics.
3. The 2nd color you pick MUST be the majority color in your image.
4. Color the image/ turn it into a simple card.
5. Post/ tag #3MC and then comment on JessicaLynn Original's YT video with the link to your sample.
6. Tag 3 friends to try this challenge too.
Okay, here goes...
Rather than trying to determine what image to use, I went to my file of images waiting to be used and randomly selected one for this challenge. It's actually a beautiful flower image from the Stampin' UP! Blended Seasons stamp set.
Once my image was selected, I reached into my Copic bins without looking and chose three Copic Markers to use for the challenge.
The three colors of Copics (in the order I selected them):
R24 - Prawn
B63 - Light Hydrangea
YG63 - Pea Green
That means the color that needs to be my predominant color is Light Hydrangea (B63).
I used one colorful piece of designer paper, a few brads, and a small sentiment to complete my card.
Here's the inside:
Now, in keeping with the challenge I am supposed to tag three individuals to take the challenge... but I'm a rebel. I'll not tag any. However, I am hoping three people will volunteer. If you do, let me know so I can see what you made.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
