Oh then root, root, root, for the home team
If they don't win, it's a shame
For it's one, two, three strikes you're out
At the old ball game.
Are we ready for some BASEBALL now? I sure hope so!
Play Ball!
I used the Victorine Originals Baseball stamp set to make today's card. I love this set with its assortment of vintage baseball images!
I stamped the image on ivory card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I sponged around Ranger Barn Door Distress Ink onto it, starting on the edges but going clear to the center, too. This made the red color darker around the edges. Lastly, I sponged Ranger Salty Ocean Distress Ink around the very edges of the image to darken it up a bit.
In this picture, you can see a little bit of the inside
where I again sponged ink onto the edges:
You'll also notice I added a baseball brad and three white enamel dots to the card. Did I hit a home run?
Don't forget, there's still time to participate in the SumMore Fun Mood Board Challenge #37. Someone will win a gift certificate to the SumMore Fun store and it could be YOU!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
