Our family has loved apple picking expeditions every year for the past several years. There's just something fun about riding the wagon out to the orchard (in the sweltering heat - okay, that part isn't so fun) and picking apples off the trees. Of course we have to sample them, too. YUM!
Our apple orchard of choice is way too far away to enjoy any more. We moved away several years ago. We've found other apple orchards and continue to pick apples ever year, but it's just not the same. LOL! This year we had a reason to be back in the area to visit... so of course we went back to Tanner's! We fed the goats. We ate applesauce donuts and drank apple cider. We sweated due to the sweltering heat. AND... we picked apples!
Happy Harvest!
Speaking of Happy Harvest, I used the Victorine Originals Happy Harvest stamp on my card today, as well as the Victorine Originals Fall Birch Tree stamp. But Shhhhhh!!! For my card, that is NOT a birch tree, it's an APPLE tree, with beautiful apples on it, ripe for the picking.
My card was inspired by this Mood Board Challenge going on at SumMore Fun...
The challenge doesn't end until September 27th, so there's still time to participate. I hope you will!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

How absolutely darling - I want to reach right up on that apple tree and pick one! Granny Smith's are my very favorite apple - and this is simply delicious! What a super creative use of the brads!
Oh what a gorgeous tree full of Granny Smith apples Jeanette - fabulous card!
