We had a Shoebox Swap here in my itty bitty town this weekend. It was so much fun!
I always stress a bit over the card design to take to a Shoebox Swap, though. What to make? WHAT to make???
Here are my three general self-imposed rules ( love the number three!):
Not much coloring (if any at all)! Coloring, while very relaxing and enjoyable, is too time consuming for a Shoebox Swap... plus I do not share my Copics. ;)
Layering is good! Why? Just because I like layering (and matting the layers with black or another dark color).
The inside must be decorated, too! I always decorate the insides of my cards.
This is the card I designed for the Shoebox Swap:
These are the cards designed by others:
Not only did we make cards, we also enjoyed lots of good food...
It was a fun day!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stamps: Hero Arts Hello and SU Touches of Texture (with a wee bit of coloring using Crayola Colored Pencils)
