Do you like to add texture to your cards/designs? If so, you're going to like the new challenge at International Art and Soul. The theme is TEXTURE.
What is texture? Anything that adds depth to the design. It can be dry embossing, textured ribbons/fibers, burlap, cardboard, etc.
For my card, I added Embossing Paste for a nice touch of texture. I also used watercolor paper, which is textured.
This card makes me smile... for good reason. Not too long ago I was able to travel to Wisconsin to a gathering of online friends. We laughed, stamped, chatted, stamped, ate, slept (a little), giggled... and so much more. We even had our own personal watercolor class! That was so cool!
I used some of the things I learned in the watercolor class on this card - yes that flower is watercolored. And speaking of the flower - it's a Gina K stamp set that I bought while I was in Wisconsin. I got to go to the Gina K store!!!
This is the inside of my card:

A wonderful, happy card. My daughter in law loves sunflowers and their wedding theme was this great flower. I love the heavily textured corner, it looks great. Hazel x
