I'm a Lucky Duck

Kelly started the Ready Set Go group some time ago and invited Barb and me to join her. The premise is we really "stretch" ourselves with the themes for these monthly challenges. Each month one of us chooses the theme. This month was my turn. These were my instructions...

My theme will require you to do a little detective work. Go to the blogs of the other two members of RSG (not your own blog, just the other two) and find the blog post that is on (or closest to) the 17th of January 2017. (If there is a blog post on the 17th, you need to choose that one, if not choose the once closest to that date.) The challenge is going to be to make a card that somehow CASEs those TWO cards. For instance, you might choose the color scheme of one of the cards and the sketch/layout of the other... Or you might use the types of embellishments found on one card while you use an image similar to the one on the other card. The choice is yours, but you must pull something from both of the cards... and be sure to tell us what it is, because truthfully, we may not readily notice what it is without you telling us.

Barb didn't have a card on her blog on the 17th of January, 2017. The closest entry she had was the next day, January 18, 2017. You can see it by going HERE. Kelly had a card on January 17, 2017. You can see it by going HERE.

From Barb's card I decided to CASE the "ducky". After all, ducks always bring a smile to my face. From Kelly's card I CASE'd the black/white polka dots.

I also really like the saying on this card because I feel very lucky to have friends like Barb and Kelly!

Now, let's head over to Barb's blog and Kelly's blog to see what they did with the Ready Set Go theme.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
