As soon as I saw the St Basil Cathedral die in the new release at Frantic Stamper, I knew it needed to have some metallic elements. After all, it's a Russian cathedral, rich, elegant. True, the real St. Basil Cathedral is colorful with lots of bright elements, but I still think of richness that only metallics can bring. So that's what I went with.
I'd never done this technique before, but it was easy and fun to do.
I first cut the cathedral out with black cardstock. Then, using my finger, I randomly smeared three different colors of Nuvo Embellishment Mouse on it (Indian Gold, Mother of Pearl, and Pure Platinum), completely covering it when I'd finished.
