I'm never good at glitter... so I'm always looking for a new way to add it to a card. After all, I love the look of glitter. I just don't like the mess. Not. one. little. bit.
So, when I recently heard about Holographic Embossing Powder I thought I had happened upon the invention of the century. After all, the reviews said you could ink up your whole image with versafine ink and add the Holographic Embossing Powder, heat set it and instant shimmer/shine. Yep, that's what the reviews said.
LOL!
That's not how it happened though. That glittery embossing powder flew all over the place... on my craft desk, on my jammies (I was making this card late at night so jammies was an acceptable attire), on the floor. Everywhere.
But... doesn't it look pretty? I guess a bit of a mess was worth it.
I also added some fun holographic washi tape to my card, both on the front and inside.
You might be wondering why all this obsession with things that sparkle and shine. It's quite simple, actually...

Oh Jeanette what a wonderful card - did you find any glitter in bed after that?? If you did you may even have got it as far as Hubby's hair, as in the little ditty - Glitter glitter everywhere, even in my Hubby's hair...!!
Blessings
