Something New with Paint
It's Tuesday so it's time to "Try Something New."
This time the "new" involved a brayer (I haven't used one of those in literally years!) and some acrylic paint.
I rolled the brayer into a pool of peachy/orange acrylic paint and then randomly rolled it onto watercolor paper. The look was okay, I guess, but I really found it to be a wee bit boring. So I added some water to a bit of brown acrylic paint and splattered it onto the brayered watercolor paper. Again, I thought it needed something. The next thing I added seemed to make me happier. I took a little disposable cup (like you'd put salad dressing in) and pounced it into the watered-down brown acrylic paint. Then I added "rings" of it onto the watercolor paper.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Groovy card! I like the look of your pounce into the paint - fun card! Cheers!
Jeanette the final background is wonderful - pity there is not more of it showing :-) A fabulous card too

What a great coffee design!! I love the orange paint background with your splatters of brown. So perfect with your cup of Joe!
The brayer! The tool of the 90's that is next to the paper crimper! LOL You used it well. I like the 'rings' idea. The light coloring on the image looks great.
