NOTE: This is my second blog post this morning. If you're here to see the Craftaholics R Us post, please keep scrolling. It is the one after this one.
I am the one who got to choose the theme for this month's Ready, Set, Go challenge. Kelly and Barb were such good sports. They had a few questions about what exactly I meant, but then they embraced my challenge and I'm sure they have FABULOUS cards for us to see. So please be sure to go to their blogs, too - Kelly's blog can be found HERE and Barb's blog can be found HERE.
This is the challenge I gave us...
No Coloring Between the Lines Challenge
We were to choose
an image we normally WOULD color. (In other words, not a sentiment or
multi-layer stamp that lays down the color for us.)
... BUT we couldn't color between the lines!
Instead, we were to think of a creative way to use that image on our cards WITHOUT COLORING BETWEEN THE LINES.
Ready? Set! Go!!!
(Oh... and we were to be sure to have fun!!!)
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Supplies Used
Stamps: Stampin' UP! Gorgeous Grunge and Unity No Words Bloom
Ink: Brilliance Sunflower Yellow, Gina K Onyx Black, and Memento Lady Bug and Potters Clay
Papers: Recollections Black and White CS and AMuse Studio DP
Embellishment: Heart-Shaped Brad from an unknown vendor
What a beauty !! Such a sweet little flower almost reminds me of a doodle and a splash of color on it and behind it is so unique. Fun technique! Of Course my eyes zeroed right in on the green paper, too!
