A Surprise in the Mail

I am the host of a little group on SCS called "Christmas CraZy". I pair up members and they swap a Christmas image and papers...then they create. We do this every other month (new partners each time). It's been a lot of fun.

There is a perk to this "job" too. Sometimes one of the members surprises me by sending me something to play with. Not long ago Kelly sent me an envelope of images/sentiments/papers. It was so very thoughtful of her - which doesn't surprise me because everything Kelly does is thoughtful. She truly is a gem! But what does surprise me is she mailed the envelope as she was in the process of evacuating for what was anticipated to be a Category 5 hurricane. Yikes!

THANK YOU, Kelly!

I made two cards with Kelly's goodies... and I still have one more sheet of images/sentiements to play with.

Card #1

Card #2

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

In addition to Kelly's items, I used the following to make my cards...

Paper: Recollections White and Stampin' UP1 Caribbean Blue, Night of Navy, and Perfect Plum CS

Die: Simon Says Snowflake Border

Embellishments: Michael's Rhinestones and Washi Tape, Stickles Glitter Glue, and a Brad and Snowflake Sequin from unknown vendors
