You might know... we kind of like ducks in our family.
Brock, our 6 foot tall young adult autistic son is terrified of dogs... of all sizes. But he loves his ducks. We can't keep bread in the house because he loves to go to the park and feed the ducks (which also includes Canadian Geese). And his ducks know him. They come waddling as soon as he gets there, knowing he will have a meal for them.
So... whenever I find a duck stamp set, I tend to think I need it. This one fell into my online shopping cart almost immediately when it was released by Sugar Pea Designs. hmmmmm... I'm not sure how that happens. Must be something faulty with my computer. LOL!
Then, it arrived and I drooled over it, petted it, and dreamed of getting it inky. But that didn't happen... for a very VERY long time. In fact, not until now.
But I'm so glad I inked it up now, because I really like how this card turned out. (You might think I'm bragging - and I guess I am - but to my defense, more times than not I do not care for my cards and often say so.)
Oh, and before you look at the card - okay, I know you've already peeked, because that's what we do. We look at the pictures. BUT you need to know there is a new challenge at Craftaholics R Us and the theme is Get Well, so this card fits.
Don't forget the "Get Well" Challenge.
I'd love for you to participate!
