This is a fun technique. I stamped the Neat & Tangled Origami Map image onto white cardstock (CS) with Versafine ink and then heat embossed it with SU Winter White embossing powder. Then the fun began.
I smudged Ranger Oxide Distress ink onto my craft mat, gave it a spritz of water and then added the watered down ink to the prepared piece of CS. Of course the ink sticks to the CS but not to the embossed image.
I heat dried it and then repeated the process with another color.
Finally, I sponged around the edges with a third color of the Oxide ink.
