This is my second day as a Growing In Unity Gal... what fun! Remember to leave a comment. Two lucky people (randomly selected from those who comment on my Growing In Unity blog posts) will receive 25 Unity stamps. You want a chance to win, I'm sure... and you can only win if you comment.
If you're not a regular on my blog, let me also explain about Tuesdays. Every Tuesday I attempt to do "something new" and post it on my blog. Sometimes these new things work out well; other times, not so much. I kind of like today's new.
It so happens that a while back (on Facebook) I saw a picture of a card someone had made using a darling Unity stamp (Meant for Adventure). The image had only been partially colored and all of the colored elements were red. You can actually see the card in the Unity store website HERE.
I was so impressed that I made a mental note to do this technique some Tuesday... and today is the day. I chose to use the Unity stamp set called Candy {Fashionista} for my card.
For a bit more fun, I stamped her dress and the bow in her hair on the same designer paper I used on the card, and did some paper-piecing.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a prize!

I love this idea of trying new things on Tuesday. This new style worked out perfectly for you on this cute card.
Very cute card! That stamp is huge, wow!
What a great technique! Coloring is not my favorite thing and this is a fabulous option when there are so many tiny details!! Love this new to me Unity image!! Wonderful design, Jeanette!
And yet another adorable card. Great job.
Great Idea--I will remember this. Thanks for the inspiration.
Absolutely adorable love the look of this. You are inspiring me😊
really like the minimalistic coloring Jeanette, as one who does not enjoy coloring this is a good technique for me. Thanks for sharing your lovely creations here.
What a great card and another stamp that I have somehow overlooked (my wishlist grows bigger, lol). I love the pops of color and how you made the inside special too.

Another wonderful creation. I don't know how you come up with all these ideas. I so enjoy looking at your cards. It's a different technique and makes the card stand out. What on earth do you do with all these cards you make? Every single day?? I've strained to get one birthday card done this week. LOL
What a beautiful and fun card! I love this technique you tried, you rocked it!
Such a darling way to colour your stamp. CAS.

I LOVE THIS ONE! I've stood at a display case with just this look many times. Love that you choose to only color parts of the image - really brings the girl into focus.

This is just absolutely adorable. I love the technique and you pulled it off wonderfully.
Great Card--and such a fun technique. Works perfect with this image!
I like how you only colored a tiny bit of the image. I've never done that....
Such a cute card. The colors pop in all the right places.
Love this technique! I think these stamps shine even without any color but this treatment is stunning. Nice!

Jeanette, I love it! Something about the monotone colors makes it beautifully classic and very fun at the same time. Such a beautiful job! Thank you for sharing it with us!
This is a clever idea you used here, love how it simply focuses on the image and the story it tells. Great work, love the paper piecing too.

What a fun and effective technique Jeanette, and I do love the fact you have paper pieced from your dp, so that everything is perfectly colour co-ordinated - as a fashionista should be!!

Really pretty. I like how you used just one color.
Well I think it turned out just lovely and love the touch of pink paper! Thanks for sharing. And will take a look at the card in red.
Too cute!
I like how you pieced this one.
So cute.
I love the purple- great color choice- and a perfect Monochromatic card! I have never seen a card done like this with just parts of the image colored- very effective- and the paper piecing is a perfect added touch!
