Play Ball!

It is always an amazing thing to encounter those special people that do such nice things... especially when you least expect it. I had one of those moments.

On May 17, I posted a card I'd made that had a picture of my son Brock on it. I mentioned that I didn't have any baseball-themed stamps in my stash... and for the purpose of that particular card I needed one. So instead, I had used the picture of Brock. You can see that post HERE.

As is my normal practice, if I'm home (not when I travel), I show the day's card on FB (in a variety of groups as well as on my page.) That day was no exception. Brock's picture got a lot of "likes" that day!

It wasn't long and I had a private message from a woman named Sabrina. I didn't realize this, but she's the owner of a stamp company called Victorine Originals. She GENEROUSLY offered to send me a baseball-themed stamp set if I would use it. That is so cool!!! THANK YOU, Sabrina! Your generosity, and your reaching out to me was very touching and I appreciate you so much.

Now, bloggers, if you're like me and you're unfamiliar with Victorine Originals, you need to check them out! They have some pretty awesome stamps!!!

Just look at the stamp set she sent me:

I can certainly see a lot of potential in this set and I'm sure I'll be using it again and again!

I used it to make a card for the new challenge at International Art & Soul.

  1. Absolutely brilliant, I love it. I did a baseball themed card a few years ago and this reminded me of mine - you can see mine here http://hazel-hazelshappyhouse.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/fitztown-anything-goes.html
