Thank You Susan
I love blog groups - the friendships, the shared enjoyment, and the inspiration I get from the other members! Priceless!!!
A week or so ago, I was drooling over a card design one of my fellow "Just Paper and Ink" blog group members had on her blog. You can see it HERE. I told Susan how much I liked her card and how amazed I was by the intricate fold. She told me it was easy to make. I scoffed. LOL!
I don't know if Susan is just VERY generous (she is!) or if she also wanted to prove her point... but for whatever reason she mailed me a big fat envelope with information about how to make the fold, plus a precut/scored piece to get me started - and all the elements to make an adorable snowman card. THANK YOU, Susan!
I'm a visual learner so it helped a lot.
I do plan to make the snowman card, but since this is my Try Something New post of this week, I really didn't feel comfortable just putting together an amazing kit so for my first attempt at the "Tri-Shutter" card, I made it all myself - carefully following the measurements and scoring/cutting guidelines that Susan sent me.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Jeanette, I love your card!!!! The image and papers are so pretty together and that fold..........wow! I'd have to have more than detailed instructions on how to do that, but I love it.
