It's time for a friendly DUEL... Dueling Darling style. The teams are evenly paired and hosted by Judy (Divas) and Deb (Dazzlers). The kits have been sent and received. The excitement has mounted as we've awaited this day. And now... it is FINALLY here! YAY!
First, let me give a shout out (THANKS) to Deb who sent the Dazzlers (including me) a GREAT kit to play with.
Theme:
May Flowers
I actually made two cards with my kit. And... *gasp! I didn't use Copic markers on them. I used my new set of Chameleon Colored Pencils. Remember last week I was going to see my family... and my sister and I were going to the LSS while I was there. I had some store credit (for items I sold in their garage sale... so it was almost like it was free money. LOL!) Well... she had just gotten a shipment of stuff... there were several boxes around the register area. I saw a package of the Chameleon Colored Pencils right on top in one of the boxes... and got it with part of my store credit! Woo Hoo!!! It was the only set she ordered and she sold them before they even got on the shelf. Do you think she'll be buying/stocking any more???
Card #1
Card #2
The real reason I made two cards is because I didn't like this card one bit! I actually made it first.
Be sure to stop by the Dueling Darling Blogs (they are linked in my left side bar) to see what they made this month.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Oh Jeanette I loved what you did with both cards. Just beautiful. I like that you outlined in black. I feel it always makes the image pop. Great challenge.
ReplyDeleteI like both cards! I do that often though...make one, don't like it then make a second. Sometimes I like the first one, until I make the second and then that one becomes my favorite. So glad I joined this fun swap to play with all the 'stuff' sent in these kits!
ReplyDeleteAwesome designs with these beautiful blossoms, Jeanette!
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous cards Jeanette 0 I love them both!!

ReplyDeleteI love both of these cards. It would be extremely difficult to pick a favorite of the two..
ReplyDeleteI love both of your cards, but am partial to the first shown here- not just your coloring, but the DP is so pretty! I agree- a fun kit to play with! Have fun with your new pencils : )
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are just perfect. I especially like the first one. The DP lends a great backdrop for your image and the sentiment. Great job!
