On Monday I started a one week personal challenge... I committed to doing a daily challenge posted on SCS. This is the 7th day... and it's the Featured Stamper Challenge. Lynda Pleckan is the Featured Stamper. The idea is to go to her gallery and peruse her cards/projects. Choose one and CASE it, but in doing so you must change at least two things about the card. I loved looking at all of Lynda's cards. She is a very talented card maker. I was drawn to many of them, but ended up deciding to CASE a floral card. You can see it HERE.
Here's my card:
As you can see, I changed several things about my card - the color scheme, the theme (hers was a birthday card), the placement of the ribbon (and hers was fringe instead of ribbon), just to name a few. But I kept the overall sketch/design and loved the use of so much white.
I don't know if Lynda had anything on the inside of her card or not, but in keeping with my normal style, I had to put little something inside...
Oh, and in case you're wondering about the flower image on my card - it's actual one of the newly released items at Frantic Stamper - Flower Garden #FRA-CLG-B002. It's a 6 X 6" background stamp, so I stamped the whole thing but only used a portion of it.
The Hello is also from the new release at Frantic Stamper - Brush Script Hello #FRA-DIE-10195.

Very pretty. Love that dp that you used.
This fun card has inspired me this morning with its sweet layout and die cut message. I'm going to take the lazy way out and use it with designer paper and a die cut sentiment for some of my church cards, Jeanette. They won't be a beautiful as your wonderfully colored flowers though!
This card is stunning--I love the strip of flowers on the outside as well as the inside!
