Try Something New

Sometimes I just get the weirdest ideas when it comes to out-of-the-norm crafting... and apparently I have an adventuresome spirit, because when an idea pops in my head, I often try it out to see if it will work.

For instance, last week I saw this transparent duct tape in the clearance aisle. What exactly does one do with transparent duct tape. I pondered that question... and then I came up with an idea. I wondered....yes, I was curious, though I wasn't certain it would work.............. but I wondered if I could use it on a card.

Apparently I could:

I first stamped the image onto white cardstock and then I put a piece of that transparent duct tape over the top of it.

I even did the same thing with a sentiment inside my card:

Sooooo, the next time you're in the clearance aisle, why not see what you can come up with for an out-of-the-norm crafting idea???
