One Die Three Times

You might have noticed a post on my blog last week that featured the Frantic Stamper Argyle Card Panel Die (#FRA-DIE-10104). If you missed it, you can see it by going HERE.

Today I'm going to show you three more cards that I made with this same die - it really is a versatile die! You'll notice that I used the die differently on each of these three cards.

For the first card I cut didn't remove all of the little cut outs left from cutting with the die. Instead, I left some randomly for a fun look...

For the second card, I cut the cardstock and removed all of the little pieces. I then wove a piece of ribbon in and out, from side to side on the cut out piece of cardstock for a different look...

For the third card, I used a piece of cardstock that I had cut with the die to make a stencil for adding embossing paste to a piece of cardstock...

I thought it would look kind of like snow that gathered along the edges of window panes or something, but it didn't turn out quite as I anticipated. At the same time, I do kind of like the texture it created and the overall look...

I would encourage you to look dies a bit differently and see what ideas you can come up with for using them in a variety of ways.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Three great looks with this awesome background die, Jeanette!! I just purchased a new Big Kick to replaced my original Cuttlebug (which I loved) which exploded and a spare Cuttlebug (which I never liked because of its short platform) which I passed on to my mom and dad for their cardmaking. I could never be with out a cutting and embossing machine. My new Big Kick has a magnetic platform and will easily take on larger dies and folders so I am loving it!!
