The Dueling Darlings are ready to duel it out again this month and today is the day. Kelly (Divas) and I (Dazzlers) are the hostess this time and we chose the theme...
Christmas in July
I. love. Christmas! So this theme makes me very happy.
I have NO IDEA what Kelly sent in her kits to the Divas - yet (but I will as soon as I snoop around the Diva blogs) - but this is what I included in the kits I sent to the Dazzlers...
Image/Sentiments (Recollections 110# White CS with Memento Tuxedo Black ink)
Sugar Pea “Merry Makers”
Designer Paper
Recollections Christmas
Noel Paper Pad
Embellishments
Michael’s Rhinestones
Michael’s Celebrate It
Ribbon
Recollections Brads
Target Baker’s Twine
From unknown vendors – Buttons, Santa Brad, and Washi TapeHere is my card...
I colored the image with Copic Markers, Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers, and a clear Zig Wink of Stella Marker. The card base is Stampin' UP! Cool Caribbean and of course I had to use Recollections Black cardstock for matting.
As a little extra fun, Kelly and I asked the Dueling Darlings to share with us what one of the first things they do each year to get themselves into the holiday spirit. For me, I love to decorate - lots and lots of Christmas trees - and I usually start a week or two before Thanksgiving.I usually have already purchased some gifts by then, but the decorating is the thing that really gets me in the holiday spirit. I love Love LOVE twinkling (not blinking/flashing, but twinkling) lights.
Now, let's head on over to the Dueling Darling blogs and see what everyone else made. (You can find the links in my left side bar.)
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
