Color My World

I think the 9th might be my favorite day each month. Know why? Because that's the day that the Three Musketeers (Barb, Kelly, and I) share what we've made with the image that one of us has sent to the others. Three cards made with the same image - so much alike and yet so different!

If you don't know who/what the Three Musketeers are, click HERE to see all of my previous Three Musketeers posts.

This month it was my turn to choose/send the image. I used a stamp that I've owned for quite some time but never used - Stamping Bella's Painter Meg. I think she's a darling... I wish I could say the same thing about my card. I'm not very happy with it, but I can say I love Painter Meg.

Here's my card:

I added some Clear Pico Embellisher to the paint (on the paint can and the paint brush) to make it look more like paint.

Here's the inside:

Please be sure to head over to Barb's blog and
Kelly's blog to see what they did with Painter Meg.

We are the Three Musketeers!

  1. What an absolutely brilliant take on this image!! Where to begin!! From the incredible coloring and that beautiful pop of orange from her overalls, to the Super fun stripes and stars paper - gah!! I haven't heard of the sparkle that you used for the paint and the brush but it sure is divine!

Such a fun and unique image to color of this month :)

  4. How adorable. You said it was a Stamping Bella...it reminds me so much of Mo's Digital Pencil...she has the same sort of images. Just love the combination of colors here...they make the image just pop!
