NOTE: This is my second post of the day. If you are interested in learning about the new challenge at One Stitch at a Time either click HERE or keep scrolling to the next blog post.
It's the 15th of May - and the 15th of every month is Duel Day, so let's get to it.
The Dueling Darlings are led by Diva Tami and Dazzler Terry. They collaborated and chose the theme May Flowers. Then they put together kits and sent them to their team-mates. Terry sent the Dazzlers a fabulous kit.
Here is what was in Terry's kit:
- Image - SU! "Love Is Kindness"
- DP - The Paper Studio
- Cardstock - Core'dinations "Sea Foam", "Merry" and "Jet Stream"
- Enamel Dots - Want 2 Scrap
- Trim - Michaels
- Flowers - Spare Parts
Thank you, Terry! And thanks to both Tami and Terry for a great round of hosting the DDD!
Here's my card:
We were also asked to share what we like to plant in our garden. Me??? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I do not garden, nor plant flowers. I do, however, enjoy the labors of my DH's gardening. It's a win/win.
Now, I think we should go see what the other Dueling Darlings created. You can find the links to their blogs in my left side bar.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
The only thing I used other than kit items was cardstock - Recollections Black and 110# White. Oh, and I colored the image with my Copic markers.
Beautiful card as always Jeanette. And the inside is just as gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteStunning, Jeanette! Such a beautiful contrast of colors with the softness of the image (reminds me a bit of the storybook coloring - soft and subtle yet stands right out!) and your vivid pop of color from the papers, and of course, your signature black lining cardstock - amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the green thumb, lol - maybe I can zip on up and borrow from your dh's garden as well since I love me some veggies!!
Your post is BLOOMING with joy!
J love the light color of your flowers and how the layer is off centered. I need to get more creative like that. And nicely done on the inside as well.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love that stamp. Great background papers to show it's beauty off.
