Hot Java Mamas

NOTE: I have two blog posts today, so be sure to scroll on down to the next post, too (or click HERE) - it's introducing the new challenge at MelonHeadz Friends - SPARKLE!

Today is the day the Three Musketeers (Barb, Kelly, and myself) show our project for this month - since it's the 9th of May.

Kelly is the hostess and she sent us a fabulous Art Impressions image with coordinating sentiments for our card...

Now, as you know, there are THREE Musketeers, but this fun image has FOUR women in it.

Well, not anymore....................

I had a little wooden Polaroid picture sort of frame that seemed to fit these three gals, so I glued white paper to it and then used a finger nail file to file off the edges. Put it over the image and added the "Hot Java Mamas!" sentiment to the frame. I was quite pleased that it worked.

I colored one of the mamas blond - Kelly is blond. My original haircolor was brown, so one of them has brown hair. The third one - Barb - is kind of an auburn color. Truthfully, I have NO IDEA what color of hair Barb had.... since I didn't know her until she was older-than-dirt. So I guessed auburn and went with that.

I added one of Kelly's sentiments inside the card, too...

Now, let's head over to Barb's blog and Kelly's blog to see what they made.

Thanks for stopping  by my blog today!

Image/Sentiments: Art Impressions Blend Girls Chatting colored with Copic Markers (Kelly stamped these on Recollections 110# White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink)
Cardstock: Recollections Black, Kraft, and White
