I sometimes - rarely - make a card that I'm super excited about. I also sometimes make a card that I think deserves living in the trash can. That's what happened this week, when I made my card for the new {PIN}Spirational Challenge.
Here's just a painful little snippet:
UGH!
Yes, it's definitely trashcan worthy.

Here's the inside:
Oh... and just in case you like to see other people fail, here's the entire Blooper card:
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Image: Unity Spring (New Beginning) stamped with Brilliance Dew Drop Ink
Cardstock: Recollections Navy and White and Stampin' UP! Summer Sun
Designer Paper: from my scrap file
Embellishment: A Muse Studio Ribbon (the Blooper had Stampin' UP! Brads)
Great card! I will be purchasing some of that ink. It's so vibrant!
ReplyDeleteI know we tend to be our own worst critics. I like both of your cards.
Great Card--I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer the 'blooper' card to the final one Jeanette - how's that for being perverse!? Love the blue and yellow colour combinations

How critical we are of our own work. The "trash" card would be loved by someone, but I do love the card you made instead.
