Peek at My Week

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!

At the time this post goes live I will be traveling about 7 hours north of my home to lead a workshop. It is the last of four of these workshops, so this trip will be bittersweet. When I return home next week, I'll unpack the worship materials - a full trunk full with a little bit of overflow in the back seat - putting it away what needs to be saved and disposing of the rest. I will enjoy fond memories of the people who attended these workshops. I hope I have been helpful to them.

Oh, and I'll have fond memories of the two days I will spend with my son while I'm gone on this trip. Life is good.

Speaking of good, it's been a good week! I was able to get my dies organized and they look so nice on the shelf - within easy reach. Hopefully I'll start using them more now. They sit right next to my already organized embossing folders.

Here's a close-up of the embossing folders:

I also made a bookmark for my Journalling Bible, using a quote that I love (thank you, Kelly Stanley)...

... and I colored my first page in my Inspire Bible (on Easter Sunday)...

Baby steps!

I made 12 cards (not too bad), submitted those four articles I had written for a national missions organization, unpacked about a dozen boxes in the garage (now that warmer weather is here I am working at getting the garage in shape - still have a number of boxes to unpack from our late-November move). And of course I did my share of cooking, laundry, grocery shopping, minimal cleaning, etc.

SCORE TIME: Would I give this week a “thumbs up” or a “thumbs down”?

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Awesome week filled with accomplishments galore, Jeanette.

I love your beautiful page for your Inspire Bible.

My sister and my dad are loving their Bible journals and work in them every day!
