Fancy Border

Get out your border punches, your border dies, and anything else you can think of to make fancy borders... then you'll be ready to participate in the new One Stitch at a Time Challenge....

Theme: Anything Goes with Fancy Borders
March 6 - 19

One lucky participant will win:

I used the Dragonfly Waterlily image for my card (you can find it in the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet HERE)...

I loved the softer coloring that I did on the image. I think paired with the bolder color papers it makes the image stand out. The photo doesn't show it well, but I added  shimmery look to the dragonfly wings by coloring them with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker after I'd colored them with my Copics.

My fancy border was created with a die from Simon Says Stamps - Thanks Scallop Border Die.

Here's the inside of my card:

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Embellishments: Spare Parts Brads

  1. love this Jeanette - the curved die cut is wonderful, and the softly coloured image really does 'pop' against the strong colours of the base.
