A Peek At My Week

It’s Friday again…time for another Peek at My Week post.

A PEEK AT MY WEEK

1.      What was a highlight of my week?

I thoroughly enjoyed speaking at the Women’s Retreat and hanging out with the women from our area. It was a wonderful experience!

2.      What lesson/s did I learn this week?

Twenty-four hours a day is not enough time. (‘nuf said)

3.      What did I make this week?

I made soup! I know, seems strange, since it is spring. However, it was cool the first part of the week, so it was perfect soup weather.

4.      What have I enjoyed doing this week?

I finally got to go to Card Class this week. The ladies are such fun. While I didn’t come up with the design, I thought I’d show you the two cards we made in class. I thought they were pretty.

5.      If I could change one thing about this week, what would it be?

I would have skipped the meeting that my husband and I went one evening – my time could have certainly been spent in more productive ways.

6.      What did I do for this week’s 30-Minute Challenge?
What is a 30-Minute Challenge? It will vary from week to week, but basically, I am going to choose something to do – perhaps it’s an organization task that is calling out to me, or a topic I want to research, or (*gasp!) an exercise I want to try, etc. – and I will set the timer and invest 30 minutes in that challenge.

I spent 30 minutes Thursday afternoon putting away things that had migrated to the kitchen from my Cubbyhole (craft area). Whew! Much better.

7.      What are my plans for the upcoming weekend?

It’s Easter weekend, so it will be a special time at church, reflecting on the resurrection. I’m not sure we’ll do anything special at home, since it’s just the three of us, but that’s okay. It’s still a special weekend..

SCORE TIME: Would I give this week a “thumbs up” or a “thumbs down”?

My goals for the coming week…

1.      I will work on my Thailand lessons!!!

2.      I will go to the city for a team meeting on Saturday – and will enjoy Chipotle and Starbucks! YUM!!!

3.      I will update my blog lists (design team information).

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I appreciate you so much!

  2. I love how you share your week with us! Sounds like a nice one! Your cards from class turned out great. I am chuckling as my husband knows to look in my stamp room for kitchen stuff that is missing. Foil, waxed paper, plastic wrap etc etc seem to walk in there all by themselves! Happy Easter!

  5. Another busy week for you - I know that feeling of clearing the craft area - great work :-)!! And yes I can sympathise about the meeting - some meetings are just that, not worth attending - trouble is you don't know until you have been :-(.
Love those cards - particularly the top one.
    Blessings

Love those two cards, interesting design on the first one and spectacular colors and textures on the second one! I need to make some cards today, so maybe I will try to imitate yours! Thank you.

  8. Both cards created are really pretty. I like the simplicity of the first card and the DP behind the die cut on the second.

Chipolte and Bux.....it's going to be a good week!
