Treasure Hunt Stitch Witchery

This is the first Thursday of the month, so thematically on my blog -

It's TREASURE HUNT time!!!

This is what I found at the local thrift store:

Stitch Witchery - a sewing notion
Cost: 50 cents

Have you ever felt Stitch Witchery? It's so soft and feathery. I thought surely there was some way I could use it on a card.

This is what I came up with:

The picture doesn't do it justice! A person needs to "pet" it to get the full effect. ;)

This is the inside of my card:

This is my 72nd card in the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge.

Jeanette, that stuff worked wonderfully! Who would have ever thought. I really thought it was cheesecloth!! Love your card too. Sensational.

What a stunning card - love the contrast between the 'timber' dp, the flowers, and that stitch witchery!! Looks like a fusible web for hems.... as I have some, my brain is now whirring with ideas :-).

Very pretty and colorful! Who woulda thunk using stitch witchery on a card? Great idea and love the fact that it needs petted.
