March is...

National Umbrella Month

Who knew???

Well, apparently Terry (the hostess of the Dazzlers) and LJ (the hostess of the Divas) did. So, let's get our Duel on!

First, let me say a hearty THANK YOU to Terry and LJ!!! I love your theme!!! And Terry, your kit was great fun!!!

Here's what Terry had to say:

March is National Umbrella Month!

We all know that when it rains, it pours so LJ and I thought we’d put together kits with an image including umbrellas.

The contents of your kit include:

Image and Sentiment: MFT - a la modes “The Rain Will Come”
Pink and Silver Dots: Craftwork Cards Candi
Ribbon: Michaels
Flowers: Martha Stewart crafts
Square Rhinestones: from my stash
DP: Paper Pizazz
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Sea salt, Coredinations Blush Red

Have fun creating….and always remember…. “True Friends Help You Weather Every Storm”!!

I decided to try something  bit different - I tried a different kind of fold and since I also own the stamp that Terry used, I did some paper piecing on the image (I'm not sure I like the way that turned out, but it's what I did.)

Here's my card:

After I made my card, I realized there's no good way to get a picture of the inside of it. OOPS!

Here's the inside:

Now, let's go check out what the other Darlings made...

This is my 80th card in the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

The only thing I added to Terry's kit to make this card was black cardstock.
