It’s Friday again…time for another Peek at My Week post.
A PEEK AT MY WEEK
1.
What was a
highlight of my week?
Tuesday! The temperature reached 77 degrees! WOO HOO!!!
2.
What
lesson/s did I learn this week?
It isn’t spring yet. Following our 77 degree day (Tuesday),
we had SNOW on Wednesday. LOL! It was very pretty snow – and it didn’t stick on
the ground, so I was happy to see it!
3.
What did I
make this week?
I tried a new recipe – Bacon Chili. It was okay, but I
prefer my normal chili.
4.
What have I
enjoyed doing this week?
I am spending a few days with my daughter – my Favorite
Daughter – this week. We’re having lots of fun! Eating, talking, shopping,
hanging out.
5.
If I could
change one thing about this week, what would it be?
I would have cleaned up the house before I left on my trip.
6.
What did I
do for this week’s 30-Minute Challenge?
What
is a 30-Minute Challenge? It will vary from week to week, but basically, I am
going to choose something to do – perhaps it’s an organization task that is
calling out to me, or a topic I want to research, or (*gasp!) an exercise I
want to try, etc. – and I will set the timer and invest 30 minutes in that
challenge.
I guess this is cheating, since I showed you pictures
yesterday, but I took the 30-minute challenge by re-organizing my Washi tape.
7.
What are my
plans for the upcoming weekend?
I am spending it with my daughter! I’m really looking
forward to a lot of the things we’ll do together, including attending worship
at Morrison Heights Baptist Church.
SCORE TIME: Would I give
this week a “thumbs up” or a “thumbs down”?
My goals for the
coming week…
1. I
will vote! Now that may not seem all that exciting, except our polling place is
at our church – right across the parking lot from our house. When we moved here
over 2 ½ years ago, I was excited that I’d be able to walk to vote. Yea, right!
I haven’t been home a single election day so have had to vote by absentee
ballot every time. This time I plan to be home to vote.
2. I
will go to Card Club. I haven’t been for a few weeks and have missed it.
3. I
will swap out the Frolicking in the Forest Swap and mail it back to the
participants, which means I’ll also open a new forest swap – Camping in the Forest.
Because I’m doing the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge, I
also have a card to post to my blog today. This is #80.
This is the inside of my card:
Thanks for stopping
by my blog today! I’d love to hear what’s been happening in your life this
week, too, so feel free to leave me a comment and tell me about it.
I used a card kit to make this card. The only product of my own that I used was Recollections Black Cardstock and Staples Ivory Cardstock.
A gorgeous card and I agree that I also cant live without those two things.
