Miss August's Theme is Cool!


On the 28th of each month, the Calendar Girls blog group has a special monthly challenge that is hosted by one of our members. The hostess gets to choose the theme and all the members create a card or project based on that theme.

This month our hostess is Paola (a.k.a. Sweet P). Because she was tired of the heat and high humidity, she chose a "cool" theme - we are to create anything that begins with the word snow. Well, that's easy....








Yep, I used a SNOWman (or is it a SNOWgirl?)!!!

    You always have the perfect papers to go with every image. I've got to start decorating the insides of my cards too. It looks so fancy with pretty paper inside.

    Jeanette--first, I love the paper you used and the inside is too cute. What great image and that mug of ????? will be great in the middle of December!

    She's a snowgirl and adorable! I love that DP and all those great layers. This is such a cute card and the double ribbon and buttons are placed perfectly.

    Another very cute Christmas card. It's such an adorable snowman and with such a fun and cute cup (it's so precious with that cup with the heart on). I think the layout on your card is awesome and interesting. The ribbons and small buttons are also great details.
