I am a huge fan of homegrown tomatoes, corn-on-the-cob, fresh green beans, yes, and even brussel sprouts! To be quite honest, there are very few vegetables that I don't like. And vegetables fresh from the garden taste so much better than those purchased in the store.
That being said - I do NOT like to get my fingers dirty! Inky, yes! Dirty, no!
Not to fear, though... I married a man who loves the dirt. No! Wait. That's not right. Being the agriculturally educated man that he is, he tells me it isn't dirt, it's soil. :/
Mealtime right now usually includes at least 3-4 different vegetables from his garden. YUM! Not only that, he's been selling vegetables at the local Farmer's Market to save up enough money for us to take a little vacation this fall.
Yep, I love my gardener! So I made him a card (I'll write a little thank you love note inside and give it to him soon.)

This image even reminds me of my husband... except he wears blue jeans instead of bibbed overalls.
The inside of my card:
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Oh, I just lOVE this image...it's on my wish list! You have one splendid card here! Hubby will love it!
...and as one who holds a neglected degree in Horticulture, he is correct. It is soil. Dirt is on floors, laundry and under our nails. hehehehe An almost exact quote from my soil sciences professor MANY years ago!
Hugs my friend!

What a wonderful, wonderful card! I can taste those fresh veggies from here. Your DH is going to love it!
Jeanette. this is absolutely wonderful. Such a fun card and such a cute layout...This is just perfect!!!
Oh my Jeanette!! This card made me grin from ear to ear!!...and for many reasons...one being that I purchased THAT MM stamp at least two yrs ago (and still have NOT inked it!) for the purpose to send YOU images so that you could make a card for your hubby...lol...it sounds sooo lame but it IS the truth...ever since you started to talk about his wonderfully abundant tomatoes crop...then as per Maurie's rules I could not stamp any MM images for gifting...
I am soooooo soooo glad U made your darling hubby THIS particulat card!!! It is absolutely a gorgeous one my dera friend...and I am sure he would absolutely enjoy receiving it!!♥
Such a cute card and a very happy card for someone who loves to work in the garden!!
Fantastic card!!!
Jeanette I am sure your 'gardener' will really appreciate this card - it is a beauty.
Blessings

Nice card for your hubby. I like this image and I LIKE to work in the garden **smile**
What a great card to give to your gardening hubby! That image is wonderful! I love the dsp you used! :)
Oh there's nothing like fresh veggies from the garden is there? I can't even eat "canned" green beans from the store because I have to have mom's canned from the garden. What am I going to do when she doesn't garden anymore? Oh, don't even think it - I have a black thumb and can't grow anything! LOL!!
What a great image. This would be perfect for my 'gsrdener'. We've got a large orchard with every fruit tree you could imagine. My'gardener' is always pruning and picking. I do the bottling and preserve making so joint effort really. But I'd love to send him a card like this cos he works so hard out there in the blazing sun. Thanks for the inspiration. How do I purchase this stamp?
Hugs Wynn x
