It's time for a new challenge at ABC Challenges and this week it's
ANYTHING GOES!
Patty, the owner of ABC Challenges says "Create any card you would like. Show us what you're working on."
It's going to be fun to see what everyone is working on this week.
I made a Christmas card (it's never too early for such things, right?).
I love this Penny Black image. It makes me think of Alaska - who doesn't associate igloos with Alaska, right? Funny thing is, my daughter and I have been having a lot of conversations about Alaska lately, so this card makes me think of her.
Here's the inside of my card:
And because Patty said she wants to see a card we've been working on this week, I thought you might like to see the card I made for a baby shower that I attended this week.
John and Grace are a young couple in our church and they're expecting their first baby (a boy) in about a month. I'm so excited for them!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I'm so glad you did! I hope you'll participate in the ABC Challenges Anything Goes Challenge this week!

Christmas in July! :) Great Christmas card!! So beautiful - colors, paper, image - very cute. And the baby card - very neat!!! I'm mega impressed!!!
Wow! Two Terrific cards, Jeanette! Yep, you're right...It's never too early to make Christmas cards! I especially love your shaped card for a baby boy!! Love the new look for your blog...it is so perfect for the Forest Ranger!!!
First off, LOVE the igloo and fun Christmas card! What an adorable image and your coloring is always such a treat. Did you gloss over the top of the button? It sort of looks like you did in the photo. Maybe it's a brad...anyway, it's a great card for sure!
Second, the little boy outfit is beyond words! It's ingenious, and simply wonderful! Love the colors, it looks so real with those adorable pockets and cute little frog peaking out! This card is a special keepsake!
Let's go to Alaska!
Pity our winter does not look as pretty as that scene :-) - love the cards Jeanette.
Blessings
Maxine
I don't think its too early to start on your Christmas cards at all :o) and this is a fabulous way to get started. What a darling pup. Terrific card!
Any tips for making that cute little baby outfit. I love it. What was the finished size? More 4X5 or 3X3? Thanks.
Beverly, I tried to figure out how to contact you, but was unsuccessful. I hope you see this comment. The card is 4 1/4" tall and 5 1/8" wide. Please email me if you have more questions - imn2wmu@yahoo.com
