Owl CASE Lela

This is the 5th day of June and every month on the 5th day the Crafty Gals blog group has a fun little challenge. This year it is especially fun, because Melina (our blog group leader) chooses one of our own and each of us are supposed to CASE the chosen member with our creation. This month is all about Lela.

So, I went to Lela's blog - that's a good place to start, right? Here are some things I noticed about Lela's style:

     She loves DP!

     She tends to use a lot of layers.

     She almost always puts a sentiment on the front of her card.

     She uses pearls and rhinestones a lot.

     She is really creative with those little banners she makes.

I really like Lela's style!


In fact, I like it so much that I had a really difficult time choosing just one card to CASE. ;) I finally settled on the one from November 5, 2012. You can see it by clicking here. Her card had birds and a great layout... so I decided to go with an owl image and a similar layout (except I made mine horizontal instead of vertical simply because it seemed to fit my image better.
