Well, that's how I happened to be the owner of the stamp set I'm using today - and to be quite honest, I can't remember if I've ever used it. Isn't that sad? Especially considering I do like the stamps in this set.

Stampin' UP! circa 2003
You know what's really is sad... the only reason I pulled this stamp set off the shelf today is because I found his scrap of "peach-y" colored designer paper and I wanted to use it, so I was looking for a stamp that would coordinate with it. WOW! Is that a backwards way to choose a stamp or what???
As you can see, the papers on this card are very muted/subtle. And the image isn't colored, just inked. Yep, this is a very CAS card!
Here's the inside of my card:
We are getting near the finish line in the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge.
Today is the 94th day of 2013 and this is my 108th card this year.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I pick that way all the time....lol
ReplyDeleteI like both the peach paper and the stamp. Sometimes old-school is the way to go ~ and CAS is sometimes harder to perfect than layering it up!
Your mighty nice, too, I must say! I just inked up this set for a swap last month! But I used the apple one :) It was fun to get them inky again - great choice of paper to go with!
ReplyDeleteI have always liked this set. I love what you did with it! And I think the way you picked your paper before your set worked out very well for you :o)
ReplyDeleteJeanette, leaving the image uncolored was a perfect choice for this card - love it!
ReplyDeleteLOL... it doesn't matter if it's a backwards way... it made you ink up that stamp!!! love it!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat way to make a card - it worked!! I do things like that too - just as well there are no stamping police!!

Very cute card!!
ReplyDeleteLOVELY! I love peach even though I don't use that color much. Your card is so pretty - makes me want to head to an orchard. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the peach tones and you've paired it so well with the other card stock! Lovely shading on this paper, I can see why you wanted to use it. This is a great card for a variety of uses. Way to go on 108 cards too!
