I have waited and waited and waited some more to show you what I have for you today. I'm so excited!
Now, those of you who know me and check in here often will not be surprised when I say I LOVE TO USE NON-TRADITIONAL ITEMS IN MY CARDMAKING! I love to go on treasure hunts and find things out of the realm of papercrafting and find a way to use them on my cards. That is one of my FAVORITE things to do.
Another of my FAVORITE things in this hobby that we love is the opportunity to make FRIENDS. Friends are so important!!!
Combine those two favorites and it will bring you to today's creation.
My friend Darlene spoiled me! She knows I love non-traditional items......... so she mailed me a wonderful gift!!!
Here's Exhibit #1
It's the most gorgeous wrapping paper I've ever seen in my life!
THANK YOU, DARLENE!!!
And as you can see... it ummmmmmmmmmm.... punches nicely! ;)
Lookie...
Didn't I tell you that paper is gorgeous!?!?!? Just look at the lovely flower it made!
And if that's not enough......... look at the card with the background made out of the same paper...
I had to go with the Imagine the Possibilities sentiment on this card.... because when I find (or am gifted) a non-traditional item, I have to find the possibility - a way to use it!
Now........... before I show you the other pictures of my card, let me tell you about another FAVORITE friend of mine - Jeri!
Jeri and I go way back - I've lost track how long we've "known" each other (online). I do know she always has been a great cheerleader to me - she always says the nicest things about my cards! And she's always been a listening ear, a buddy, and an inspiration. I treasure her friendship!
Who is Jeri? She's the owner of the Craft Us Crazy Challenge blog!
