Actually, this Pizza Party started a couple of months ago. It all began when I sent images to the Mystery Image Swap Goup and they started creating cards with this......... ummmmmmmm... unique stamped image. Some of them found it to be quite challenging but they were good sports and they all created FABULOUS pizza-themed cards.
They want to see all of the creations, since they only get three of the swapped cards, so the idea for this blog post formed and I'm going to show you the cards that all 17 of us made.
First, here's my card:
I wanted to use that pizza slice (remember it from the invitation in my earlier blog post) so I chose to go with a 5 1/2" square card base. It doesn't open like a traditional card, though. Just the pizza box opens.
Truthfully, I created this card and then started receiving such incredible cards from the swappers and thought, WOW! I really blew this one. But my card is MY card and as I would tell all cardmakers, we can't/shouldn't compare ourselves to others. So I'm going to attempt to follow my own advice.
Now, let me show you what the other Mystery Swappers did with thet fun pizzs box image. (Oh, and there was also the sentiment "I love not cooking" and a slice of pizza image for them to use if they wanted to do so.)
