PLEASE NOTE: I have two blog posts today - this one and
the {PIN}Spirational Challenges one that follows it.
Please check them both out..........
and join the challenges! They are great fun!!!
Those of you who know very much about me know that I am not a farmer type - I do NOT like to play in the dirt. LOL! My husband, on the other hand, would LOVE to have a farm. He actually wanted to be a farmer, but that dream was side-lined when God called him into the ministry as a young man. I am so thankful he's a minister, and not a farmer.
I say all that to preface my card for today. hmmmmmm... It's Twisted Tuesday Challenge time!
The Theme: Farm Living Is the Life for Me
Is the Greenn Acres theme song in your head now? Good! Keep it there while you make your creation for this week. I want to see your Country creations. They can include gingham ribbon or papers, a farm image, farm animals, fields of green or anything that says "Farm Country" to you!
The Twist: Include "grass" somewhere on your project.
This can be machine cut, hand cut cardstock, stickers, drawn, etc. - just show me some grass.
Okay, here goes:
Farm Living Is the Life for Me!
Hay there!
Did you see my grass?
It's made with a Martha Stewart Grass Border Punch.
Isn't that fun?
I added some gingham ribbon and a button tied with hemp for a Country flair.
And here's the way-too-understated inside of my card:
Now it's your turn... take a trip to the country and create a Farm-style card for Twisted Tuesday!
Image: Stampendous Cowlick Tractor
